Excursion to the famous olive press.

We invite you to visit one of the most famous oil mills of Corfu Island, where you can learn about the details of olive harvesting, production and processing of the famous olive oil The Governer in the village of Agios Matfeos.

The tour lasts approximately 1-1.5 hours and includes:

  • Transfer from the place by 7-seater minibus (and back). Group excursions for 7-40 people are also possible.
  • Walk through the beautiful olive groves in the south of the island, learn interesting facts about olive trees, olive oil production in Corfu, starting from ancient times. Visit the exhibition of ancient objects and equipment for the production of olive oil.
  • take a tour of a modern oil mill (in English or Russian), where you will learn about all the stages of olive oil processing and extraction.
  • Visit the storage and standardization areas.
  • Get information about the composition and numerous awards of our brand of olive oil.

Next you will be able to taste the olive oil.

You will also have the opportunity to purchase olive oil products at the exhibition and sale.
