Agios Stefanos Beach

Agios Stefanos Beach

Agios Stefanos Avliotes (St. Stephen, near the village of Avliotes) is a large tourist village located on one of the most beautiful sandy beaches of Corfu Island in northwest Corfu. It is a quiet spot with a long sandy beach and very clear sea. The long beach continues along a cliff, at the foot of which are small lakes with therapeutic blue clay.
The area is ideal for a family vacation. Around the beach are numerous tavernas, bars, a disco, several swimming pools, a tennis court, and a small port offering day cruises to the three small northern Diaspontia islands, as well as water sports. Regular buses run to Sidari and the capital of Corfu (except Sundays). The town of Sidari, located 8 km from Agios Stefanos, offers numerous nightclubs, bars, and discos. Near the coast are numerous picturesque villages in traditional Corfiot style, as well as the island's most beautiful sandy beaches: Arillas, Agios Georgios Pagi, and Peroulades. A small fishing port is located 500 meters away, where you can buy fresh fish and seafood daily, caught by local fishermen in the Adriatic.
