Nissaki Beach
Nissaki is a tourist destination 22 km from the center of Corfu Town, located on the northeastern coast of Corfu Island, in the direction of Kassiopi. The name "Nissaki" translates from Greek as "island." The beaches of the Nissaki area are located at the foot of Mount Pantokrator.
This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places on Corfu, indented with picturesque bays at the foot of lush mountains and a wonderful spot for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The village of Nissaki boasts several taverns and restaurants, a diving club, and a small, cozy beach of fine pebbles. Nearby are the beautiful pebble beaches of Glyfa, Kaminaki, and Krouseri. These stunningly beautiful spots offer a relaxing swim in the crystal-clear, calm sea, while exploring rocky coves, caves, and serene beaches. The area offers several taverns, restaurants, and shops, a diving center, apartments, and hotels. Daily cruises to Nissaki depart from the port of Corfu and nearby tourist areas (Barbati, Gouvia, and Ipsos). A particularly popular destination is the blue bay of La Grota, with its underwater caves and the rock-cut church of Agios Arsenios, accessible only by sea.
Nissaki Beach in Corfu is also very popular with couples and honeymooners from around the world.
