Paleokastritsa Beach
Paleokastritsa Beach is located 25 km from Corfu Town, on the island's west coast. The Paleokastritsa National Road leads to Paleokastritsa. It is one of the most picturesque and popular destinations on the island of Corfu. Around 17 small rocky coves, with sandy or pebble beaches, surrounded by green trees and olive groves, and surrounded by bizarre cliffs, will captivate even the most discerning traveler. Five of the coves are accessible by car, while the remaining beaches can be reached by rented boats or sea taxis, with or without a captain. The 7-kilometer coastline of Paleokastritsa is indented with beautiful bays, where you can find many beautiful caves and grottoes with crystal-clear emerald waters.
Most bays have boat stations where you can either charter a boat for a self-guided tour of the bays and beautiful rocky grottoes, or take a "sea taxi" with a captain to any beach you like. Super Paradise Beach is particularly beautiful, a large white pebble beach sandwiched between two sheer white cliffs. The beaches of Paleokastritsa are popular with divers and boat enthusiasts, and are also ideal for snorkeling.
The beach has been awarded the Blue Flag by the European Union for its clean seawater and shoreline. You can also rent sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach or grab a bite to eat at one of the many tavernas.
Nearest beaches: Ermones, Lapades, and Agios Georgios (Pagos).
