DIVING
Diving in Corfu, in beautiful Paleokastritsa or in the south, in Messonghi. Dive with us into the underwater world of the beautiful island of Corfu, which combines gentle seas and beautiful nature. The diving center, opened in 2001, is the perfect place to restore your peace of mind and focus on the beautiful and amazing underwater world. Professional instructors will help you choose from 26 excellent diving sites. Beginners can try the Discover Scuba Diving course and learn how to breathe underwater, and those who want to learn scuba diving can join us for an international PADI training course. We do not forget about those who want to stay on the surface, so we provide daily snorkeling trips.
Every day at 10:00 we set off on our boats and choose one of 26 beautiful dive sites. Impressive grottoes and caves, incredible rocks and reefs with different species of fish and interesting wrecks are some of the dive sites that will make this experience unforgettable. Dives last 40-50 minutes in small groups (we form different groups for open water divers and advanced divers). Equipment is fully provided. After completing the paperwork and loading the equipment, we make two dives in two different places and return to our center. Snacks and drinks are offered between dives.
Paleokastritsa is one of the most famous areas of Corfu, ideal for scuba diving, located on the west coast. Here you will find many grottoes and caves, shipwrecks, rocks and reefs, where experienced divers can encounter barracudas, groupers, pikes, moray eels, wolffish, several species of sea bream, crayfish, octopus, nudibranchs, cuttlefish, squid and many other species of fish and invertebrates.
The dive centre in Messonghi (south-east coast of Corfu) is an ideal place for beginners (discover scuba diving) and courses, as it is part of Natura 2000, an ecological network of protected areas created to ensure the survival of the most valuable marine species in Europe. The dive base is only 20 minutes from the port and Corfu town.
Diving in Ofoni Island.
Trips to Ofoni (one of the Diapontia islands, just northwest of Corfu) are organised twice a week, departing at 10:00 to Ofoni (just northwest of Corfu), the journey takes around 50 minutes. The island has some excellent dive sites, including two shipwrecks that can be penetrated and a stunning cave. Snacks and drinks are provided between dives. On our return we stop at the ‘White Beach’ before lunch is served on another Diapontia island, Mathraki (lunch included). Return to Corfu at 18:00.
