Gastronomic tour of the North of Corfu
The gastronomic tour is offered to guests staying in the central, northern, north-eastern and north-western parts of Corfu Island.
During this tour we will visit:
- Corfu Beer is a local beer factory where you can try excellent quality light, red and dark beer, as well as various types of non-alcoholic ginger beer, which is produced only on the island of Corfu.
- One of the most beautiful observation decks on the island is Bella Vista.
- Olive Oil Museum in the mountains above Paleokastritsa, where you can learn about the technology of olive oil production from ancient times to the modern period, taste extra virgin olive oil, olives, marmalade and olive oil sauces.
- Production of liqueurs, wines, traditional sweets from the dwarf Chinese orange tree kum kuat, nuts, figs and other local products
- A shop where you can buy locally produced salami and nubulo (the Greek equivalent of prosciutto).
- Donkey Rescue Centre where donkeys from all over Greece are taken in and cared for.
- You will also have lunch in an authentic village, where you can taste traditional Corfiot cuisine in an ancient atmosphere.
